About The Silver Gala

The Silver Gala is one of Kigali’s premier social and cultural events, organized under the Sherrie Silver Foundation. 

This year’s edition is themed “Tropical Elegance” and promises to be a spectacular evening of fashion, entertainment, and meaningful impact.

It brings together Rwanda’s top creatives, entrepreneurs, cultural icons, and influencers. 

Past performances have included standout acts by local and regional stars; fashion statements, dances, and artistic showcases dominate the program. 

This year, the gala will be hosted by Eric Omondi (Kenyan comedian) and Makeda Mahadeo (Rwandan media personality).

Confirmed performers include Butera Knowless, Chriss Eazy, Massamba Intore, Ross Kana, and more, joining the Sherrie Silver Foundation’s artistic lineup. 

The event takes place at BK Arena, Kigali, a modern venue suited for high-profile concerts and events. 

Funds and awareness raised through the gala go toward supporting the foundation’s projects, especially for children, arts development, and community initiatives.

Volunteer Roles & Expectations

As a volunteer, your duties may include:

• Assisting with guest check-in, registration, and seating
• Backstage coordination (artists, props, schedules)
• Stage support (microphones, cueing, timing)
• Guest ushering, VIP care, and crowd flow management
• Helping with décor, photography coordination, or social media coverage
• General support before, during, and after the event

We’re looking for committed, enthusiastic individuals who can fully participate during the event date and possibly during rehearsals or setup times.
